Hello,
I am the owner of a !?91 Acura Legend LS, and recently, I installed a Sony
FM 10 Disc CD Changer in it. However, after a couple of months of use, the
front speakers stopped working. I was told by a friend that there had been
a recall previously for the rear amplifier in the !?91 Acura Legend. I went
to an Acura dealer and had the recalled amplifier replaced. Unfortunately,
after the replacement, the rear speakers stopped working as well. The
dealer told me they were not qualified to fix car audio problems, which I
though was ridiculous. I was totally dismayed by the whole situation. I
went to an electronics/car audio store - Futureshop (in Canada) - and ask
them to check what could be wrong with my car audio system. They verified
that the amp and the speakers are working, but there are still no sounds
coming from the four speakers. The technicians at Futureshop were puzzled by
what could have been the cause of the problem and were unable to present me
with a solution !
(other than replacing my stereo system and all four speakers!). I was
hoping that you might have some ideas or answers as to how I can solve this
problem and get my speakers working again!
Thank you,
